Creating an actionable mindset that Amdocs’ employees can get behind
How we got Amdocs employees speaking the same language and singing to the same tune through an internal communications campaign.
OVERVIEW
Amdocs, a multinational software and services provider for comms & media companies, were based in Israel, Chesterfield and Missouri. Each team spoke a completely different language when it came to working at Amdocs. Our role was to build on the external “Make it Amazing” campaign created by Mccann and ignite the Amdocs brand from within, through seven signatures moves.
Research &
understanding
After spending several days researching the brand, we learned that employees at Amdocs believed different stories about the brand – not helped by the fact that each global office was pushing out completely different messaging internally and externally.

Anika’s nomadic lifestyle requires a minimalistic touch; she relies on fast and reliable online storage to back-up her digital content she works with a remote video editor to a system to securely host and manage her online store with downloadable guides, she regularly contributes to editorial publications and requires a collaborative space to work in real-time alongside her editor from anywhere in the world.. Although it’s a dream to take this show to the stars 💫 🚀 🧑🚀

Amdocs was privileged to be able to connect to a diverse range of people and companies through its work, but their messaging was vague and abstract. It needed to break down the barriers to entry and help people understand what “Amazing” is and the mindset behind it.
Insight
“Amazing” doesn’t just happen through a single action, it’s not a switch you can flip – it’s a mindset.
We needed to break down the barriers to entry, helping employees understand “Amazing” and how they can action it.
STRATEGY
Roadmap To Amazing
Clarify the underlying mindset of “Amazing.”
Define how to achieve amazing outcomes for customers and partners.
Concept the DNA of “Amazing” and what this means for employees.
Define a “Culture of Creativity” and mobilise the company to live and breathe the behaviours of a forward thinking tech team, bringing this to life through storytelling – focusing on the process, taking risks, and a culture of innovation.
Roadmap the seven Signature Moves; focusing both on delivering ‘Amazing’ outcomes and experiences for the customer, and in setting a new standard to strive for excellence in the everyday.
This work wouldn’t have been made possible without the incredible team at Prophet.
We landed on a series of seven “Signature Moves” that would help ignite the Amdocs brand from within. These Signature Moves focused on 1) delivering ‘Amazing’ outcomes and experiences for the customer, and 2) setting a new standard to strive for excellence in the everyday. The aim of the first was to lead the conversation around the future of technology as thought leaders in Telco and beyond, build closer, longer-term strategic relationships with customers and build our reputation with end-customers. The aim of the second was to bust through internal siloes by sharing learnings and best practices, deliver a consistent employee experience to enable employees to live and breath the brand, and to equip leaders to role model and enable Make it Amazing by immersing themselves head on in the real challenges customers face.
